Iβve probably listened through it 50 times this morning. Iβm searching through for any little hiccups, too-loud or too-quiet parts, cluttered or muddy parts. Itβs a workout for my ears, listening so closely. It feels really cool to watch the song feel cleaner, sharper, more vibrant and sparkly. This is the final step before the songs go out into the world for you. You hear the first drafts, the βsketchesβ on my podcast and youβve seen me dancing to them in my little music videos. This is more of the nitty gritty work that I LOVE LOVE triple LOVE. Producing in Ableton feels like my inner kid playground. I feel totally free to express anything and anyway I want there. Where do you feel most free to create, get super nerdy and play? π€βπΌ
