Facts about Unlock: In this dystopic, vampire universe, the bond between a Human and their Vampire is unique. The only human Vampires can feed from is the one they made a contract with. Thereโs no one else, nothing that has equal importance as their Humanโs life. Thatโs why they make the perfect bodyguards, and wealthy humans consider owning vampires a status symbol. Itโs easy to get high on that power, dependent on that kind of influence and abuse of it.
So the bond becomes symbiotic, intertwined, whether Human and Vampire want to actually be close or not. And at first Dariothinks he doesnโt. He learned to be wary, that humans are greedy and can get vampires as sexual objects or dangerous pets to put on a leash. But oh, vampires can be equally as greedy, canโt they? And itโs so simple to desire, when that human with the sad eyes never asks anything of him, except to protect his fragile, precious life...

2021-05-08 07:18:14 +0000 UTCI'm glad you noticed the detail of the veins!! โบ๐ To answer your questions: pretty much yes. Vampires shouldn't kill a human in any case, to not risk dire consequences... much like a dog would risk being put down if deemed too aggressive/out of control. Vampires are considered expendable, so even in exceptional cases of human/self defence, the risk of being put down would be very high. Regarding feeding, instead: to do so from a human they're not bonded with is more of a thing they are not ABLE to do... but heh, I won't spoiler too much about this ๐๐ค Thank you so, so much for the compliments and the questions, they are all much appreciated!!! ๐๐ฅฐ

2021-04-27 02:19:16 +0000 UTCThe paleness of Dario's skin, with his veins showing through is just ๐ "The only human Vampires can feed from is the one they made a contract with"... so does that exclude your big strong Vamp bodyguard from r/ipping the t/hroat out of some wanna be murderer of you? or are the rules *specifically* against FEEDING? love these two, and the info we're getting on them!
