2024-08-31 14:26:00 +0000 UTCI think of one piece as a rollercoaster ride. In the beginning it's a slow but intense buildup of emotion and character. Marineford was the first peak in the ride. There is always going to have to be some sort of decline after a buildup like this, and there is for a little bit, but it never drops all the way to the bottom. I'd say it dips down to about half the quality to what marineford was in the coming arcs. But then the next buildup starts. For the next 500 or so episodes the same cycle repeats, just like everything that has occured from episode 1 to marineford. from timeskip to current arc everything matters. Not everything may be exciting or intense, but we are nearing that next peak again and the ones that are caught up know that. The final saga is here and I cannot wait. As whitebeard said, there is going to be a war even bigger than this one for the one piece, and everything from this point on will set up for it. And you haven't missed it yet, so now is a perfect time to catch up, and I hope you do decide to.
