As far as why does Michael make you care when you shouldnโt? I personally think Michael works so well almost 100% because of Steve Carrel. I literally donโt think this show works with anybody else playing Michael. Heโs just incredible. I also like to think about the show like it was real and I often think Michael is showing out so often because he knows heโs being filmed and plays up to the camera. I like to think when the documentary crew isnโt there he acts a lot different. (most of the time at least, Iโm sure heโs still cringe even when the crew isnโt there, ๐)
